It's camping time with our ROAD TRIP fabric!

Yes it is! The weather is warm, the campgrounds are open and the beaches aren't too crowded yet. It's a perfect time to go for a road trip and do some camping. We have a beautiful provincial park very close to where we live so we can go for day trips but sometimes we like to stay overnight because it's right on the beach. We have a 1975 Vintage Trillium camper trailer that's small enough to be towed by a regular passenger van. We even took it to California and back (a 9000 km round trip). Now that was fun!! Here's a pic of Mr. P and I back in 2013 at the beginning of our cross country trip.

I've been refurbishing the interior of our little camper and last year I made curtains. This year I'd like to re-upholster the cushions and add a quilt and some throw pillows. Of course I'll have to use our cotton fabrics for the quilt and pillows. My friend Sherri Sylvester used our Road Trip fabrics and made the best quilt for her parents and it's not a complicated pattern so I'd like to make something similar. Since camping season is here, I'll be digging out my personal stash of Road Trip theme projects. This picnic tote is something we use all the time. It fits all my Tupperware, plates and utensils perfectly. Natalie from @carryhersbynatalie made it for me and I just love it!

This wee snack bag fits snugly into my picnic tote. The snack bag I made myself - easy enough that even I could make it - LOL!
